Hi all,
Just to share some info with you, I entered a comp for the best motorcycle photographer of GB. Back in October I was told that I had made it through to the final three out of thousands of entry's. Me and the other 2 finalists had a weekend in Bamburgh to do a 8 challenge shootout involving doing static shots of Yamaha road & trail bikes and doing moving road shots in different locations and we had to make the images fit a brief that they supplied.
Yesterday we all had to go to NEC Bike show to find out who had won the overall comp... Well it was a close run thing between me and Dave Fletcher I won 3 challenges & he won three, and Debbie the other finalist won 2, so it was down to the judges to sort it out.
The winner was Dave Fletcher me second and Debs 3rd, they told us that it was so so close between me and Dave but his winning image just fitted the brief slightly better than my image, so well done to Dave and next time Debbs.
I am disapointed not to win but 2nd place will do until next year...... |
